CCA Spotlight Center

Got a tough file management problem that you’d like to pose to an expert? Want to see a demo of CCA Analytics? Then pay a visit to the CCA Spotlight Center at Insight 204!

The Spotlight Center will be manned by product experts throughout the week, allowing you to get some one-on-one time with Model 204 developers and to see product demonstrations in a more personal environment. Additionally, we'll be showcasing specific products and features in a mini-theatre setting. Abstracts for these scheduled demonstrations are shown below.

File Management V6R1 Demo

Several new features in Version 6.1.0 have required changes to the File Management facility. This demonstration will show the following new features and how they were implemented in File Management:

  • The addition of the new attributes BLOB and CLOB
  • Sizing changes for Table B concerning large objects
  • Sizing for the new Table E
  • The ability to Increase and Decrease the number of pages in Table E
  • The capability to specify the KEEPDEFS option on the INITIALIZE command
  • The ability to specify settings for BAUTOTYP, BAUTOINC and DAUTOINC
