High-Performance Query and Reporting for CICS
IMAGINE is CCA's high-performance query and reporting system for CICS
environments. It enables users to develop complex reports
against large volumes of data by using simple panel-driven
screens. Like other CCA products, IMAGINE is designed to make
the most cost-effective use of your machine environment. The
development facilities enable you to prepare and test all
aspects of data extraction, formatting, and presentation within
your report with limited subsets of data before running against
large volumes.
A comprehensive range of reporting options, including predefined
functions and field manipulation, empowers users to write,
manage, and execute complex queries against data resident
on your enterprise server, without the overhead, loss of flexibility,
or security concerns in distributing data to local platforms.
IMAGINE offers you the option of running in on-line or batch modes,
so that you can run routine work off-peak, while running urgent
reports against the latest data at any time.It also provides
an interface to Model 204 that enables
you to apply IMAGINE's outstanding querying power to the world's
best enterprise-scale database management system. IMAGINE
also has interfaces with other environments, including DB2 and DL/1.
